Dearest Yogis and Yoginis
Sat Nam. I would like to introduce myself to you all. My name is Jaap Shiva Kaur (Trudy) and I am super excited to be taking over Kundalini Yoga Moreton Bay from Lorraine, who is leaving us and taking her talents up north to build a community. It is my mission to continue to build, strengthen and grow our community in Moreton Bay. I am so honoured and lucky to have walked into this community that Lorraine has nurtured and loved for the last 4 years, and to have everything fall into place with divine timing and divine synchronicity. I look forward to helping you all grow in accordance with the Teachings and for you to continue to blossom and flourish as the Divine Sparks you all already are.
This yoga called me long before I answered. Once I answered it was like everything shifted. My yoga journey began in 2013 when I heard about hot yoga. Whilst this served me for a few years, it became apparent that there must be more to the philosophy of yoga and that there must be more of me somewhere inside. Hungry to know more, I attended a Kundalini Yoga Beginners Course in 2016. Suddenly there was meaning. It resonated with me immediately and I signed up for teacher training in 2017. I trained with the Ajai Alai Awakening School in 2018 and graduated in Level 1 in October 2018.
My aims are to share my knowledge and passion of Kundalini Yoga through the Teachings and help you grow along your journey, which you have chosen in this space and time. If you are reading this, you are part of the collective consciousness assisting in human evolution and awakening!
I am also a Foundational Reconnective Healing Practitioner and a Certified-Reconnection Practitioner and also a Past Life Regression Facilitator. My interests lie in mantra, Naad and music, and I play harmonium and guitar. Recently, in 2020 I have launched a kirtan experience with my band, Nidhaan. I look forward to organising several events for 2021, such as kirtan, gong baths, chanting, Aquarian Sadhanas and more, so please follow me on the following pages/sites to learn more about my projects and to keep up to date with events.
